How to use Image converter
Select your images, choose JPG, PNG or WebP output and press Convert. Set JPG background color when converting transparent images. Download each output or download the entire batch.
Reproducible example
Load example and convert the generated PNG to JPG. Switch to PNG or WebP to compare the output size. Changing any option clears previous results so downloads always match the current settings.
Limits and file handling
AVIF input depends on browser decoding support; AVIF output is not offered. Animated GIF and WebP inputs become a single still frame. Conversion does not preserve metadata, animation or the original color profile. Input is held in this page only and is not saved in browser storage. Clear removes inputs and outputs; navigating away does not transfer them to another tool.
Choosing JPG, PNG or WebP
JPG works well for photographs and has no transparency. PNG preserves transparency and suits graphics that need lossless encoding, but can produce larger files. WebP supports transparency and lossy compression when the browser supports exporting it. This tool verifies the returned format because browsers can silently fall back to PNG. Use HEIC to JPG for iPhone HEIC files. Re-encoding can change color and removes metadata; retain your source files when fidelity or metadata matters.
